Frithjof
Schuon is an authentic representative of the Sophia Perennis. In
his books, he often described the real nature of man, and
his life bears witness to this real nature. His personality was
a perfect reflection of his writings. He was a noble man, a spiritual
man, a contemplative, a "Gnostic" or "Pneumatic",
and a "primordial" man.
The
purpose of the following pages is to give a more precise, albeit
incomplete, insight into Frithjof Schuon's spiritual personality.
As
with any quotation, one must always go back to the original passage
to gain a full understanding of the ideas expressed in the books.
In
some cases --mostly for books, we have indicated the references
of the quotations.
